Dwayne Shaw is guest speaker at CRSA Annual Dinner
Dwayne Shaw of the Downeast Salmon Federation is the guest speaker at the CRSA 2015 Annual Dinner.
Mr. Shaw is the Executive Director of the Downeast Salmon Federation in Columbia Falls, ME. The Downeast Salmon Federation is a community based non-profit conservation organization focused on protecting natural resources in Eastern Maine. The Federation operates the Wild Salmon Resource Center, the Pleasant River Hatchery and the Downeast Rivers Land Trust. The private, nonprofit organization works with the federal hatcheries at Craig Brook in Orland and Green Lake in Ellsworth and also partners with the University of Maine in Orono, the University of Maine at Machias, the U.S. Geological Survey and the Maine Department of Environmental Protection to conduct research on Atlantic salmon at the East Machias Aquatic Research Center.
