Thank you!
Many thanks to all our Members, Teachers, Liaisons, Donors and Attendees who made The Connecticut River Salmon Association’s 40th Annual Dinner in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of our “Salmon-in-Schools” Program such a great success. Congratulations to all the award winners.
First we had the “Inspiration” awardees who were responsible for starting and growing the “Salmon-in-Schools” Program; Gerry Feinberg, Marjorie Drucker and Dick Bell. Next the 15 Year Teacher Awardees, George Baldwin, Mary Pat Coburn, Valerie Cournoyer, Mary Silverman and the 15 Year School Awardees, Amity Regional High School and The Sound School. All well deserved.
A special congratulations to our “President’s” Award Winner, Mr. James J. Carroll Jr. who has endeavored to support and enhance the CRSA in multiple positions through the years.
Also, many thanks to the teachers who shared their photos and to Elizabeth Kendall who produced a poignant slide show covering the first 20 years of “Salmon-in-Schools”.
Lastly, a salute to our Dinner Committee, the CRSA’s new Music Director, Ben Bilello for the enjoyable Jazz accompaniment he arranged and our 2016 Guest Artist – James Prosek for sharing his new work “Atlantic Salmon” with all of us.
